John Rodgers Suite
Named after Colonel John Rodgers, the Scot who in the Revolutionary period operated Susquehanna River Ferry in Havre de Grace and owned taverns on both sides of the river, one in Havre de Grace and one in Perryville. The John Rodgers Suite is extra spacious and is decorated in tones of slate blue and gold. The suite has its own private entrance with a lovely balcony. The room contains the original split mantel which adorns the working fireplace and has a number of unique antiques, including a melodeon (piano). The vivid yellow and green Italian fireplace tiles and stained glass windows create a colorful and extraordinary room. The Rodgers Suite also has a large private bath with a claw foot tub and shower and a queen size bed. Room Rate: $140
