Just about every Monday @ 7 we’ll be serving a "fun, casual dinner with a global flair" in our historic Dining Room or Pavilion. Dinner is usually served Buffet or Family-Style with group seating, so bring some friends, get ready to make some new ones and, most of all, enjoy your dinner. Here's a list of the upcoming dinners and some other special events we thought you might like.

August 29:  7th Annual Back to Skool Dinner

Featuring Updated Versions of School Lunch Meals, including Tator Tots with Bacon and Blue Cheese, Roasted Tomato Bisque with Cheese Crisps, Lobster and Crab Mac N Cheese, Asian Glazed Duck Meatloaf, and PB&J Bread Pudding.


Sept 5 - No MNSC due to Labor Day

 

Sept 12 - Morrocan Specialties

including Sweet and Sour Carrot Salad, Spinach with Preserved Lemons and Olives,  Lamb Tagine with Pomegranate in Phyllo Cups, Couscous with Chickpeas and Spicy Chicken Meatballs.

 

Sept 19 - Oktoberfest

featuring Cucumber Salad, German Potato Salad, Sweet and Sour Cabbage, Pork Shoulder with Sauerkraut and Apples. Assorted Wursts, and Black Forest Brownies.


Sept. 26 -  None - Come out to Farm to Chef and support Susan and Ken


Oct 3 - Vegan Feast #2

Back by Popular Demand, Susan will prepare a Farm to Table Vegan Feast

(Menu will be announced based on the harvest one week prior to the event)

Oct. 24 - The Big Easy Dinner

Ms. Lily's Famous Chicken and Shrimp Gumbo with Potato Salad and Rice, Crawfish Etouffee, Sweet Potato Beignets


Oct. 31 -  NO MNSC - WEDDING ON-SITE


Nov. 7   Polish

Pierogies, Mizeria (Cucumber Salad), Stuffed Cabbage Rolls, Polish Chicken Cutlets with Mushroom Sauce, Potato Pancakes, Faworki aka chrustiki (Angel wings)


Nov. 14    Tried and True Comfort Food

Caesar Salad, Roast Garlic Smashed Potatoes, Mama’s Pot Roast, Roast Chicken Breasts Stuffed with Cranberry Herb Dressing, Green Beans with Carmelized Onions and Toasted Almonds

 

Nov. 21 Surf N Turf:  

Flatiron Steaks and Tuscan Shrimp with Salad, Crispy Romano Potatoes, Seasonal Roasted Vegetables, and Salted Caramel Fudge Bites

Dec. 5   Susan’s Homemade Italian

featuring Salad Caprese, Rapini with Chickpeas and Garlic, Grilled Chicken Piccata, Roasted Tomato Marinara and Meatballs and Tiramisu Cupcakes.


Dec. 12  Annual Holiday Cocktail Party

Special $15 price for a lovely selection of appetizers and bites.

and mixed drinks also available for an additional charge. 

 

Doors open at 6:30, seating at 7.

chef's whim, prevailing trade winds, etc.

 

Just so's you know: 

 

Vandiver reserves the right to cancel if less than 20 guests are attending any given dinner. 

We will contact you no later than the Sunday prior if event is cancelled.

 

Supper Club is an "all we can make for a very reasonable price especially when considering how yummy things are".  And while "seconds" are often available and even encouraged, it should not be considered "all you can eat".  Sorry, no substitutions, but sometimes we can make arrangements for special dietary needs given ample notice. 

 

We seat "family" or "group" style so get ready to make some new friends!

 

Groups are certainly welcome, but to simplify things, please call ahead to make direct billing arrangements for the group (and then your guests can pay cash at the bar)
